Manistique Farmers’ Market Tote Bags!

Help support the Manistique Farmers’ Market and get a useful bag (or bags!) to carry your fresh local foods home in! We were able to purchase the imprinted bags thanks to a mini-grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Each bag costs $2 and will be used to purchase more bags and to help with advertising the market. Tomorrow is Market Day (every Wednesday, 4-6pm at Little Bear West Arena) and bags will be available at the information table.

About Manistique Farmers' Market

The Manistique Farmers' Market is located in Michigan's Beautiful Upper Peninsula. We will be opening the 2012 Farmers' Market season on Wednesday May 23rd from 5-6pm at the Little Bear West Arena. On Wednesday June 27th we will extend hours to 4-6pm every Wednesday through October 31st. We are a local food and farm market only. Currently all of our farmers are from Schoolcraft and Delta Counties here in the UP, with 75% of the products grown or produced in these two counties. The remaining 25% of products are grown/produced in other Michigan counties or in the Wisconsin counties that immediately border the UP of Michigan. Get Fresh! Get Local!

I will definitely be purchasing one of these because my arms always get tired when I come down there!!! I always buy more than I planned on.
