Although the strawberry season in the UP this year was very brief, there are a lot of other delicious fruits and vegetables from the UP of Michigan and the Wisconsin counties that border the UP to look forward to as we move into the heart of July. At this week’s Manistique Farmers’ Market (Wednesday, July 11th, 4-6pm) we expect:

- Honey from happy and productive UP Bees

- Carrots
- Cabbage (possibly)
- Beans (possibly)

- Kidney Beans (grown right here in the UP!)
- Cut Flowers
- Flour Tortillas (best anywhere! whole wheat and white)
- Garlic Scapes
- Wheat Berries
- Granola
- Dried (seasoned!) pastas
- Onions
- Breads, pies, cookies and other baked goods
- And ….. so much more!
