2014 Manistique Farmers’ Market Vendor Information

The Manistique Farmers’ Market 2014 handbook and application for farmers is now available! Manistique-Farmers-Market-Vendor-Application-2014 2014 MFM Vendor Handbook New for this season: Chuck Renze Ford of Manistique is sponsoring the Manistique Farmers’ Market! Their sponsorship will cover all of our promotion/advertising costs for the entire season! We are currently working on the paperwork to begin accepting the Bridge Card (SNAP benefits, aka: food stamps) at the Farmers’ Market. I don’t know if all will be in place for the first Market on May 14th, but we will spread the word when it’s ready to roll.

Before you head out for that final camping trip of the summer, stop by the Manistique Farmers’ Market this afternoon for great UP produce, baked goods, eggs, honey, maple syrup, beef and so much more! We have beans, corn, tomatoes, potatoes (yukon gold, fingerling, red potatoes), cabbage of various colors, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, peppers, beets, lettuce, apples, peaches, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, onions, garlic … and so much more! Start of Strawberry Season at the Manistique Farmers’ Market


Just in time for the 4th of July holiday weekend, fresh UP strawberries will be at this Wednesday’s Manistique Farmers’ Market. Rondeau’s Ruff Acres in Cooks, Michigan will be there with some of the best and freshest strawberries around. Rondeaus also ask you to bring any empty (preferably clean) strawberry boxes (quart, etc) for reuse and recycling. Come to the Manistique Farmers’ Market this Wednesday from 4-6pm at the Little Bear West Arena in Manistique. Come celebrate as we kick off the height of produce season here in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula.
